PAB (or PSW) for post-stroke rehabilitation • Côte-Saint-Luc / Laurentians
Safe transfers, hygiene, bathing, incontinence care, and meal support after stroke.
Client recovering from a stroke needs help with safe transfers (bed to wheelchair), personal hygiene, bathing, incontinence care, meal assistance, and light housekeeping/meal prep. PDSB certification is mandatory. Up-to-date CPR and first-aid required. Background check required.
Schedule: Monday to Wednesday (Thursday optional), 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Rate: $24.00/hour
The family spends part of the week in the Laurentians — the caregiver must be willing to accompany them for 3–4 days. Transport is arranged (pick-up Monday morning, return Wednesday/Thursday), or caregivers may arrange their own transport. Private bedroom and bathroom provided. Evenings after 8:30 p.m. are unpaid personal time.
